i have vmware on my macbook(osx lep) which is currently running xp home. i am trying to play guild wars on my xp partition but it requires Directx. i have instaled the directx (link given by Gwars) two time on my xp. am i doing something wrong or what? any suggestions or advice on how to successfully install and run directx would be awesome!

i have guild wars installed and am “playing” it. it boots up fine and works but the graphics are horrible. and its still loading up the game to get into an arena as im typing this. so my nxt question would be……Is there any way to either lower the settings on Guild wars to fix the bad graphics and/or slowness? or is it just a vmware issue and will have to tinker w/ the setting some more?? thanks. oh and is this website telling me anything useful -http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=1658;tips=1
